The 2012 Season is nearly here!

Phew, at last the 2012 Motorcycle racing season is nearly here.
Ducati MotoGP are doing the now usual Vvroom event – I wish Nicky Hayden a speedy and full recovery from his shoulder injury.
Not much ice go-kart racing for him this week
Dovi to has a shoulder injury but Doctors say he’ll be fit for the season opener – no word on testing tho.
No Suzuki, less factory bikes and now CRT machines put out to “play” interesting..
Well at least they’ll be 1000cc machines and the going fast, looking and sounding great will remain I think!
Will Valentino and the team turn around the Desmo GP12? I think they will.
Will Dani Pedrosa go even half a season without the need for surgery?
Will Casey Stoner continue where he left of in 2011? Fastest, strongest and fully committed for championship number three?
Welcome Moto3 let’s see what great racing and riders you bring to light.
After the 125 two strokes you’d better be more than “good”!
Testing is at Jerez 23rd to 25th March.
I plan to pop along there.

The BSB circus starts the season off by testing in Alcarras in Spain 4th to 7th of March.
Well done Pacedayz and Craig Fitzpatrick for getting that venture sorted.
I’ll be going along to that little event and I’ll share my views then.

The ThundersportGB 2012 season test is 26th February at Mallory Park, I’m hoping for a dry/warm and sunny day to allow the racers/teams good quality track time.

Well Hello out there in Blog-ville?

I am new to blogging so here goes…

Recently had a conversation at separate times/places with two BSB Riders who have been approached about “joining” a new Team.

The person asking them about “joining” this team is an ex-racer who has yet to confirm which championship his Team will be in and in which class of racing.

The cost of “joining” Team is £300,000!

Neither of the approached riders have that money or are able to currently raise that amount.

That is a lot of an investment for any racer, club,BSB,WSBK or even MotoGP.

Motorcycle racing is generally expensive and I wonder who out there would take up such an offer?

Any ideas or comments?
